Scanning business cards is the main feature of LetsLigo. Here's how to proceed:

Method 1: With Your Smartphone

1. Access the "Scan" section from the menu
2. Click on "Take a photo"
3. Allow camera access if requested
4. Position the card in the frame
5. Make sure the card is well lit and clear
6. Take the photo

Method 2: Upload an Existing Photo

1. Access the "Scan" section
2. Click on "Upload a file"
3. Select an image of your card from your device
4. Accepted formats are: JPG, PNG, WEBP

Tips for Better Scanning

• Use uniform lighting
• Avoid reflections on the card
• Make sure the entire card is visible
• The card should be flat and not folded

After Scanning

Once the card is scanned, LetsLigo automatically extracts information (name, company, emails, phones, etc.) using OCR technology. If the card shows several addresses or numbers, they are stored as separate fields on the contact profile (instead of one unusable string for sending mail). You can then verify and correct the extracted data before continuing.
